BRIEF HISTORY
Pacothane Technologies was founded in 1984 when PACOTHANE® Release Film was introduced into the market place to become, and remain, the leading product of its type for multilayer PCB production. The new concept of offering custom-sized Sheets and Tooling was also introduced.
Pacothane Technologies continues to innovate and expand its product line, introducing PACOPADS™ (Pressure/Temperature Diffuser Pad), PRESSPROBE™ Pressure Testing Film, PACOTHANE® "PLUS" Conformal Film, and PACO•VIA™ Laminating Film.
Since 2002 Pacothane Technologies' Manufacturing Facility, has been following the ISO 9001 Standard, providing controlled development and manufacturing of our products from concept to finished product.
In 2008, the warehousing and fabrication operations of Pacothane Technologies, formerly in Holyoke, MA. is consolidated into an expanded Winchester, Massachusetts Manufacturing Facility, that is fully air-conditioned and designed to provide a cleaner, controlled environment.
In 2017 Ed Alois, who has been leading the company since 2004, purchased the company from its founder, Martin Wilheim.
